Do you have a pair of parakeets? male and female?
well you need my advice. you may see your birds
pecking and squaking at eachother. well it is
nothing bad, they are just being love birds like
husband and wife so don't freak out when you see
them like this. if you ever want to breed them
you can give them a bird house in their cage, and
some hay at the bottom of the cage. that way they
can build a nest, lay eggs, and have babies. once
they have babies you can sell them to make money.

Dear bird lovers,
you probably don't know this but you need help
taking care of you parakeet! so read below for
helpful tips for you and your pet parakeet.
Tip#1: feeding your bird can be harder than it
looks. you may just think that all you have to do
is fill the seed bowl every week. Well there is
more than just that. if your bird only eats seeds
it won't get all the vitamins it needs.so give
him apples, spinich, oranges, lettce, carrots,
and soak their seeds in olive oil before you give
it to them. also this may sound weird but even if
their food bowl looks full it may not be. because
parakeets take the husks off of the seed. so it
could be just seed husks. Just to let you know
parakeets can eat chili peppers! they can't taste
the spicieness of them so you can feed them
peppers.
Tip#2: to teach them words repeat the word over
and over until he squaks it out. some words may
take loger than others because parakeets can't
pronounce their L's very well. so go easy on
them. after you teach them quite a few words you
can teach them phrases and songs.
Tip#3: fist i would teach them words. but after
your bird learns some you can teach him tricks!
be sure you have his favorite treat in your hand!
just like words reapete the trick over and over
until he finally understands. when he does what
you tell him reward him with a treat. it may take
months to teach them a trick. i would teach him
easy tricks first like climbing up a bird sized
rope or doing monkey bars.
